Tuesday-Friday, October 3-6th      Washington DC, Gettysburg and Baltimore     


  The crisp days of Fall are the perfect time to visit Our Nation's Capital.  Come join us on a patriotic autumn adventure that starts by visiting historic Gettysburg, PA., at their new Visitor Center.  We'll have dinner at the Civil War era, Farnsworth House, where you'll be able to see the outside brick that holds over 50 actual bullet holes from the Civil War!  We'll arrive at our hotel in WASHINGTON DC at night.  We’ll enjoy a deluxe continental breakfast before our local guide will share the history of the area along with seeing many of the major sites.  In late afternoon, we'll visit George Washington's estate, Mt. Vernon with a self-guided, walking tour and enjoy dinner in a Colonial inspired setting at the Mt. Vernon Inn. After breakfast On Thursday, we'll start with an Interpretive Tour of Arlington National Cemetery by TRAM, with time to take in the moving and solemn "Changing of the Guard Ceremony!"  In the afternoon, we'll have free time to explore on our own before a marvelous family-style Italian dinner at CARMINE'S! On Friday morning after Breakfast, we’ll travel to Baltimore to take in a Changing of the Flag Ceremony at Ft. McHenry, where the original "Star Spangled Banner" was written.  We'll also have a "Flag Talk" by one of the National Park Rangers.  We'll have free time in Baltimore's Inner Harbor for lunch on own, before we begin our trip home.Here is your chance to join us on a special patriotic Autumn getaway with your friends from the Mentor Senior Center.

Wed-Fri, Aug 30 –Sep 01     Canadian Theatre Festival- Shaw and Stratford    

    Join us on our annual adventure seeing the theatre jewels of Ontario, The Shaw Festival and The Stratford Festival.  Enjoy two delightful areas with Broadway-quality shows at a great time of the year to travel as we enjoy the charm and grace of the respective settings in Ontario. We’ll travel to Niagara Falls to check into our hotel (for two nights) with an elegant dinner at the revolving restaurant atop the SKYLON Tower with a wonderful view as it overlooks the Falls! At The Shaw Festival, we’ll take in “Me and My Girl,” an English musical comedy about a missing heir from the wrong side of the Cockney tracks providing come-uppance to his snooty, royal ancestors. Tuesday, May 16th------- “Forever Plaid” the Musical - at the Hanna (1:30 matinee) 


On a stormy night in the 60s, four eager teenage singers known as The Plaids, met their untimely end on the way to their first gig. Now in 2017, this quartet get one last chance to return from the after-life to do the show they never got to perform! The Plaids deliver with playful patter and angelic voices a fun show that engages you to sing along to the nostalgic pop hits of the 1950s. The classic songs include: "Three Coins in the Fountain"; Moments to Remember"; "No, Not Much"; "Sixteen Tons"; "Chain Gang" "Heart and Soul"; "Lady of Spain"; "Scotland the Brave"; "Shangri-La"; "Rags to Riches"; and "Love is a Many-Splendored Thing". Come take a ride down Memory Lane as we enjoy the clean-cut genre of this musical comedy revue. Friday, September 29th         The Bridges and Wineries of Ashtabula County                            


Calling all Leaf-Peepers, History Buffs and travelers who enjoy the pleasure of Mother Nature’s autumn artistry.  Come join your friends from The MENTOR SENIOR CENTER, for a day of fun during the start of fall colors. We’ll start in Ashtabula County, one of Ohio’s most scenic, as they roll out the welcome mat for us to view their charming and historic Covered Bridges.  Our local guide will take us to bridges to learn the history, significance and secrets they hold (some bridges are over 100 years old!)  After our Ohio history lesson, the learning will continue in Ohio Wine Country where we’ll start with lunch and enjoy tastings of the wines of Ohio.  After lunch, we’ll visit Hundley Family Vineyards and South River Church Vineyards to sample their amazing wines. We’ll visit Patterson’s old-fashioned apple farm, with fresh apple cider and donuts (included.)

Sunday, November  26th                                 A Very Merry POPS!                                           


Join us to enjoy a wonderful holiday afternoon of classic Christmas music with The CLEVELAND POPS ORCHESTRA.  Patterned after the famous Boston POPS, our Cleveland POPS will perform their annual Christmas concert to help kick-off your Holiday Season with a POP!  Before this annual show spectacular that features world-class musicians on the Main Stage of the PALACE THEATER, we’ll have time to enjoy the elegant and opulent lobby of the PALACE, restored to its 1920’s grandeur.  In addition to the instrumentalists, the POPS Vocal chorus will raise their voices in song along with our Yuletide spirits.  Plus, there is always a rousing version of audience participation, so come prepared to sing-along. We have reserved main floor seats at the Palace Theatre at Playhouse Square (we actually hold seats in June, to ensure our guests are on the main floor!) Plus, our trip by deluxe motorcoach includes a wonderful, post-show, plated dinner at the Windows on the River, offering spectacular riverfront views of the Cleveland skyline.  On our way home, we’ll view twinkling lights of Cleveland.   (This trip usually sells quickly, so make your reservation soon.) Friday, November 17th           “A Christmas Story” comes to Life!                                   


Just in time for the start of the Holidays, we’ll relive RALPHIE’S story with a tour of the Christmas Story House.  This is one of the Holiday TV Movie classics (filmed mostly here in Cleveland,) and you will have a chance to see the famous “Leg Lamp,” the inside of the house and the back yard where Ralphie almost “SHOT HIS EYE OUT!”   We’ll cross the street to view the MUSEUM, with many actual artifacts from the Movie and we’ll also have time to shop at their expanded Gift shop and see the amazing array of Christmas Story House Items. Next, we’ll travel to Medina for lunch at the Corkscrew Tavern including a stop at the AI ROOT Candle company in time for the pre-Christmas sale items.  We’ll complete our day touring the amazing  CASTLE NOEL!  This marvelous attraction has compiled everything Christmas, from movie memorabilia to magical Christmas display windows from New York City.  They even have the Santa Mountain from the Christmas Story, so you can sit on Santa’s lap (lie and tell him you’ve been Good) and then slide down, just like Ralphie did! Trip will depart at 9:00 am. and return about 6:00 pm.

Wednesday, June 14th----- I LOVE LUCY and the Chautauqua Institute 


Come celebrate Summer starting at the charming Chautauqua Institute, world-famous for its dedication to
music, the arts and spiritual renewal for all faiths. We’ll have a guided tour of this unique Victorian village,
followed by time to enjoy the little shops of Bestor Plaza, the town center of Chautauqua.
Next, we'll depart for Jamestown, NY, the hometown of one of America's best loved actresses, Lucille
Ball! We'll start with lunch in a re-creation of The Ricky Ricardo Manhattan TROPICANA CLUB! During
lunch, we'll watch TV monitors as they replay one of the most famous Lucy and Desi episodes! After
Lunch, we'll have a guided tour at the Lucy Desi Museum, seeing the tremendous collection of artifacts,
memorabilia, costumes, gowns, photos and much more. We will also see the re-created, Desilu Studios,
showing the TV studio sets of the "I LOVE LUCY" Apartment living room and kitchen. We'll have time in
the expanded gift shop before we take the "Lucy Town Tour," as we travel around Jamestown. Join us on
